Upgrade those peepers!

Writer: Bridget ErinBridget Erin

We recently took the kids to Disneyworld and if you know anything about traveling to Disney, the name of the game is simplicity. Plan to bring anything that will make your life easier. I knew I would need sunglasses but I'm not nearly responsible enough to bring separate sunglasses and I'm also blind enough without glasses that I need to wear my prescription ALL the time. This is where Pair Eyewear comes to my rescue.

I'd been getting adds for Pair Eyewear for about a year. As the "girl who tries", Pair had been on my radar and I'd almost clicked "buy!" several times. For some reason I got analysis paralysis. I couldn't decide or commit to a design. They have dozens of options! As someone who loves to change glasses for the appropriate outfit and occasion, I knew I needed a decent selection with my first purchase.

The basic premise of pair is simple. Select an inexpensive pair of base glasses (starting around $60). Then you select your top frames which are just simply swapped by the magnets in the corner. So easy!

I opted for 5 fronts with a basic promise to myself that one of the front options would be a pair of sunglasses. My main concern was, would the glasses be too thick once I placed one of the designer fronts on the frames. Boy, was I

wrong! Once I snapped on the fronts, they were just fine. The only gripe I suppose, the magnets aren't super strong so they can accidentally bump off if I lift a shirt over my head or the kids get a hold of them. I fully intend on ordering more fronts and expanding my catalog!

Pros: Inexpensive, fashionable, easy, comfortable

Cons: Expansive selection makes it hard to choose, magnets aren't super strong, magnets are sometimes visible (others have worked around this by adding little gems to the corners).

Would I recommend it: Absolutely!
